Hozelock Automatic Watering Systems
A Hozelock automatic watering system waters your pots, beds and borders on a timer, using a network of tubes that push together by hand. Start with a kit or build your own from the parts below. Everything here is part of the same Hozelock micro irrigation system, so it all fits together.
How the system works
- A timer at the tap turns the water on and off. See the Hozelock Select, Select Plus and Sensor Controller Plus, or the battery-free Auto Off.
- 13mm supply tube is the main line around the garden. Choose 25m supply tube or the bendier Flexi Hose. A pressure regulator keeps the system at the right pressure.
- 4mm micro tube branches off to individual pots and baskets, joined with a 7033 T-fitting. Get it in 10m rolls.
- Drippers and jets do the watering. Use end-of-line or in-line drippers for pots, adjustable stake drippers, and 90°, 180° and 360° micro jets, strip jets and mist jets for beds and greenhouses.
- Soaker and sprinkler hose water whole rows. Try the porous soaker hose or the 2-in-1 sprinkler hose.

For a patio of pots, a Hozelock watering kit is quickest: the 15, 20 and 25 pot kits include a timer. For a mix of beds, borders and pots, build your own from the parts here, plus the full range of Hozelock irrigation fittings.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run it from a water butt?
Yes. The Select 2220, Sensor 2212 and Sensor Controller Plus 2214 timers all run from a water butt. For more pressure, use a pump. Our guide to connecting to a water butt pump explains how.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
